My name is Tomasz Mikolajczyk, but I write novels for you under
the pen name Thomas Blaidd. I was born into a family of book
lovers and musicians in the picturesque city of Ostrów
Wielkopolski, Poland. I studied philosophy at the Adam
Mickiewicz University in Poznań, earning a Master’s degree in
the subject. My career path has taken me from selling
vegetables and co-owning a large advertising agency to farming
with my agritourism business. I left the glitz and the pursuit
of money behind, settling down in the tranquil English
countryside, where I started to pursue my dream of dancing with
words. That’s how I began to write novels, offering people
moments of respite from their everyday concerns, stirring their
hearts, bringing a tear to their eyes, or lighting up their
faces with a smile. This is me, full of emotions and hopes that
take on various hues of an inner scream, much like the titles
of my books.
